In life prior to COVID-19, when you want to change a tradition but don't want to be the jerk in the family to change it, you're confronted with what can sometimes feel like a large and complicated to-do in your family life.
But because of the current conditions of quarantine, so many rituals and traditions -- in everyday life and religious or spiritual life -- have been turned upside down. With no choice but to all adapt, we as a society have adapted, just like that! (Think: Passover Seders on Zoom; Easter sermons on Facebook Live).
In this facilitated conversation, we'll explore why traditions matter (or don't) to us each individually (or those in our lineage who really wish they mattered to us), and what layers of each tradition truly hold the meaning we intend to carry on.
